About

Segment Analyzer is a simple web application that connects to Strava to make it easier to explore segments and understand wind conditions along the entire route. The goal is to provide quick, visual assessments of tailwind, headwind and crosswind – so you can choose the right time and route.

The app combines Strava data with weather forecasts to calculate an instant rating (0–100) per segment. You can view segment lines, details and a small forecast chart highlighting favorable times.

Why I built this

I'm an IT student and an avid hobby cyclist. I wanted to build an app I can use myself when going for KOMs – and I hope it helps others as well.

Roadmap

• Improved accuracy for wind calculations along the route
• More filters and sorting in the map and segment list
• Ability to save favorite segments
